We had a salsa tasting contest at work and I won out of six entries! The salsa is actually my cousins (who has no blog or FB so I can’t link her). Someone in our family makes it every get together we have and everyone loves it. It is not super hot but it definitely has a kick to it. It also gets more hot the longer it sits in the refrigerator. Here is the recipe 🙂
2 tbls minced garlic
2 cups diced tomatoes
1 big can and one small can of Hunt’s Sauce
1 bunch of cilantro
juice of one lemon
salt & pepper to taste
1. In a food processor (I use the Ninja) chop the onion, jalapenos, and cilantro real small. This step is important because having small amounts of these items in every bite is essential.
2. Combine all the ingredients and stir!
This recipe makes 2 quarts.
